Match the billing unit
A monthly cap limits usage charges for a running server. A monthly equivalent for a prepaid term describes a different commitment. Compare the amount due today as well as the displayed monthly figure.

Five entry plans, checked 21 October 2026
A low monthly figure can mean hourly billing, a prepaid two-year term or a server with half a gigabyte of memory. This comparison keeps those differences visible.

Decision guide
The billing contract usually matters more than a difference of a few cents.
A monthly cap limits usage charges for a running server. A monthly equivalent for a prepaid term describes a different commitment. Compare the amount due today as well as the displayed monthly figure.
VAT, public IPv4, backups, control panels, transfer overages and renewal pricing can change the real bill. Include only the extras your workload needs.
Half a gigabyte and four gigabytes of memory do not serve the same workload. CPU sharing, storage size and location availability also matter before price becomes comparable.
Workload fit
A static site, VPN endpoint or test service may fit in 1 GB of memory. A database, build runner or several containers often needs more. Check the application's measured memory use, leave room for the operating system and confirm whether storage and transfer can grow without a migration.
None of the five examples is a universal winner. The useful choice is the one whose contract, location and resources match the workload you will actually run.
A compact general-purpose server when the selected region has capacity.
A longer-term purchase for users who accept prepayment and renewal pricing.
A small, predictable development server when the Basic size is available.
A low-resource Linux server for lightweight sites, services and test workloads.
A very small instance where low memory and storage are sufficient.
